The Matt Chapman Youth Masters

I’m very proud to be a small part of the Youth Masters. As a full scale airshow pilot, two time member of the U.S. Aerobatic Team and a captain for American Airlines, I appreciate and understand the value of family support, good training, team spirit, pride in a job well done and never settling for less than my best effort. However; I was always taught from an early age that being a good sport, having respect for my elders and knowing I could learn from almost anybody that was willing to share his or her experiences with me would have huge impact on my future. I truly am where I am today because of my hard work and the many people that have been a positive influence on me as a young person and pilot growing up.

When I first heard of the Youth Masters and what their mission statement was, I was very impressed. This organization stands for all I believe in as a person, competitor, professional aviator and model airplane flyer. I was humbled to have been asked to lend my name to such a fine organization and group of people that care so much about the future not only of our sport, but our kids future as well.

When you come to Triple Tree in beautiful Woodruff South Carolina to join in the fun and excitement of a weekend of RC aerobatic flying competition, I promise you’ll go home a winner in many ways. We put emphasis on fun! However, you’ll also feel very welcome from all the other competitors and their families. We gather to support each other, help each other and cheer every pilot on whether a first time aerobatic pilot or a “seasoned” flyer in our advanced group. You will see other pilots helping and encouraging their main rivals! We wouldn’t have it any other way at the Youth Masters. This is what we stand for.

So, come and join the fun. All you need is a good attitude, a willingness to share and learn and we will supply the rest. Literally; we supply two 35% Extra 330’s at no cost! All you do is fly!

Everybody leaves a winner. Memories and friendships gained here are sure to last a lifetime. I hope to see you in June at the Annual Matt Chapman Youth Masters.

Warmest Regards,

Matt Chapman
