Greetings from Triple Tree, dear friends!

Well folks, we had a banner Joe Nall year. As always there's simply nothing like gathering in May to experience Triple Tree in full bloom! The fellowship of flying friends, the non stop fun and all the fond memories a week of flying together brings. Nothing sadder to our group of faithful volunteers than seeing the last RV and trailer leaving the Aerodrome. Something akin to taking down the Christmas lights. Bitter sweet for sure.

Since you last joined us at our favorite aerodrome, we celebrated in fine fashion the completion of "The Spirit of Triple Tree". That of course being the wonderful Spartan Executive. It was quite an evening! She is a fitting center piece at the main hangar. Cheers to all involved in the rebuild!

So, what's next? Or should I say WATTS next? E-WEEK AT TRIPLE TREE AERODROME!!! That's right dear friends we've taken on yet another reason to invite all of our best flying buddies back for another grand time. This will be the first year and as such, we encourage all of you to come join the fun as well as the honor of being able to say "I attended the VERY FIRST ONE!" Dates are Sept 29th through October 1st We'll be utilizing the entire aerodrome for this event. Think of it as an electric version of the Joe Nall if you will.

So what kind of planes are we looking for? ALL OF THEM !! If it's electric and it flys, BRING IT!! From foamies, F5B, EDF, sailplanes, scale, helicopters, to what ever you can imagine, it's what we want. You can also expect camping, vendors, BBQ, all the big name pilots, all the magazine/video coverage and the list goes on. As always, we'll specialize in Fun, Fellowship and Hospitality in the manner you have come to expect at a Triple Tree event. But without all the noise!!! WOW can you imagine that many airplanes and helicopters flying and all without the engine noise? Honestly, it's going to take a bit of getting used to but it will be AWESOME!!!

For the first year, camping prices will be $10.00 per night. We'll start letting vehicles through the gates on September 26, at 12 noon. Another change from the norm (actually an homage to the earlier days of the Joe Nall) the world famous BBQ will be held on Saturday night. Tickets are $10.00. As usual we'll have the school buses running throughout the entire event to help you cover the vastness of the facility. You can click on the "Registration" button at the top of this page to pre register and purchase BBQ tickets. We encourage all to do so as it makes your arrival that much more trouble free.

So here's the chance to be able to tell everyone you were there at the VERY FIRST E-WEEK at Triple Tree event! Boy can you imagine being one of the lucky few who could boast being at the first Joe Nall? THAT is something to tell your grand kids about! Our goal is simple; provide Triple Tree Aerodrome, all the awe inspiring amenities you've come to expect, have volunteers who treat you like family, cook world class BBQ with all the fixins and simply let you relax and fly until your heart's content! What more could you ask for? It will simply be aviation heaven, electric powered.

On behalf of the entire Triple Tree Aerodrome gang, we cordially invite you to come be a part of the inaugural E-WEEK at Triple Tree! Come enjoy yourselves and be a part of history in the making. All in all, we couldn't be more excited. NOW WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A REASON TO HAVE ALL OF OUR MODELING FRIENDS HERE AT TRIPLE TREE TWO TIMES A YEAR!!! We look forward to seeing all of you Sept. 29th through October 1st. Safe traveling and flying.
